November 04: Sydney Open House
Today was 'Sydney Open House' a city wide event where some of the most interesting buildings in the CBD are open to the public. Its pretty much impossible to see everything on the list and we only managed a small hand-full of buildings but we did see (in photo order); No.1 Bligh Street, currently the most sustainable office building in Australia; BVN Architects offices; Sydney Masonic Lodge; The Sydney Eye Hospital; Backstage at Sydney Theatre; rehearsal spaces at the Sydney Dance Company and the New South Wales Parliament. Daisy insisted on wearing her queen costume all day which brought lots of comments from the tour guides and other visitors. Unfortunately we didn't get any freebies so she's going to have to try harder next time!
